[edit] About the Software Team:
This year our goal, for the AUVSI competition, is to implement Passive Sonar in order to find the "treasure" and surface in the correct octagon. One of our secondary goals is to implement vision using OpenCV. We will start off by only feeding the video back to the laptop. We will be using DisCo to manage all the different AI components, and the majority of them will be written in C++ using Disco's interfaces.
Bearcuda's Software has a few major components:
- Commander - the control interface on the laptop.
- Field Commander - AI that manages the completion of each mission goal
- Messenger - Micro-controller that manages communication with the hardware

We are currently meeting after the general every general meeting. The next meeting is November 5th.
