[edit] About the Mechanical Team:
The Mechanical Team is responsible for designing and building the mechanical platform that will be used in competition. Currently the bulk of the design for Bearacuda is being done by a MecE 460 team. However, there are still a lot of other equally important tasks that needs to be done (see sub-projects). Also, once the platform has been designed, it will be up to the MecE project to lead the construction of the AUV. After construction the MecE team will be responsible for helping with sensor calibration and vehicle testing.
